Senior Silvicultural Consultant
After obtaining his forestry degree in Germany and working in tropical forestry for several years, Jens moved to the UK in 2001 where he has since been specialising in silvicultural research and training. He joined TreeStory in 2024, contributing his silvicultural experience to various projects and leading the newly established TreeStory Learn programme. Jens can be seen hillwalking, road cycling or skiing (weather permitting) when not at work.
