The role

Join our growing team as a Forester, responsible for hands-on project delivery—conducting site surveys, mapping, document preparation, and operational supervision. You’ll ensure our core values, outlined in our Woodland Charter, are upheld in every project. Reporting to a Senior Project & Forestry Consultant, you’ll receive high-level support while mentoring Graduates and Assistant Foresters.

Key responsibilities

Develop detailed project plans with the Senior Project & Forestry Consultant.
Execute tasks like site surveys, mapping, documentation, and supervision.
Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders.
Use Asana for project management and reporting.
Contribute ideas and insights at company meetings.

We’re looking for someone that is:

Proficient with technology (Microsoft Office, Slack, Zoom, Asana, QGIS).
A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
Adaptable, able to navigate real-world complexities with problem-solving skills.

You should have:

At least 2 years’ post-qualification forestry experience.
Professional membership (or working toward) with the Institute of Chartered Foresters.
Full UK driving license required.
